About me

With 2.5 years of experience in the Product Design world, I’ve worked across B2B and B2C spaces within the ticketing and event tech industry. That time has taught me that a lot of design is about building consensus and managing trade-offs—but not so long that I’ve stopped asking, “Why do we do it this way?”

Growing up, art and digital design were some of my favourite classes. I loved using creativity as an outlet and often found myself giving design advice. At the same time, I excelled in math and sciences, which made me feel like I had two very different paths ahead of me. Without role models in creative careers, I chose what felt like the safer option: Business.

I began my career as an Analyst, honing skills in market research and data analysis. I enjoyed using data to create consulting advice to help others make informed decisions, but deep down, I knew I wouldn’t feel fulfilled in a career that didn’t allow me to be creative. That realization—combined with the pause that COVID brought to so many—led me back to pursuing design, but with a twist.

My business background is now one of my greatest strengths as a designer. It helps me connect disciplines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure design decisions tie back to business impact. At the heart of my work, I bring a systems mindset—considering the entire ecosystem of a product, not just its individual parts. I focus on balancing user needs with company goals. For me, design is about solving problems, making hard things easier, and crafting experiences people remember and want to advocate for.

When I’m not designing, you can find me walking my dog while listening to design, product, and leadership podcasts (big fan of Lenny’s Podcast and, most recently, Dive Club). I’ve also enjoyed books like Don’t Make Me Think and Continuous Discovery Habits.
